What's on this rung
- IPL (intense pulsed light) - for diffuse redness and vessels
- PDL / KTP laser - targets visible telangiectasia
- CO2 laser / electrosurgery - reshapes established phyma (Type 3)
- Requires in-person specialist care - not telehealth
What to expect
Lasers are the only treatments that reduce established visible vessels; usually several sessions (commonly 3–4). Procedures reshape phymatous tissue.
When to climb
This is the top of the ladder. Maintenance returns to Rungs 1–2 to protect results.
